Title 15, Chapter 12, Section 141
( 15-12-141)
The governing authority of each county shall provide facilities for
the impaneling of juries and for their deliberations. Jury
deliberation rooms shall ensure the privacy of the jurors and
include space, furnishings, and facilities conducive to reaching a
fair verdict. The deliberation rooms shall be safe and secure. To
the extent feasible, juror facilities shall be arranged to minimize
contact between jurors and parties, counsel, and the public. While
the jury is deliberating, the presiding judge may direct them to be
furnished with such food and nonalcoholic beverages as the judge
shall think proper. |
